More of the same = more of the same.

Keep doing what you’re doing, keep getting what you’re getting. More of the same gets more of the same.
I’m waiting for the last 8 or so baby pounds to fall off. Waiting. Waiting. I’m only 80% committed to eating right and 20% committed to calorie burning. I keep doing more of the same. I keep getting it too. I’m not baffled that the size 6 pants don’t fit—but I continue to be disappointed. As does my dog, since he'd like to toddle around the block more often.
I hear from people quite often that “this is what we’ve always done.”
Yes, and for the last year and a half, I’ve sat on my butt, eating. That doesn’t make it the right thing to do.
Change is uncomfortable. It’s work. There are costs—mental, physical, emotional and financial costs. I know that no one will carry my butt to the gym. I know that my friends (God love them) say nice things like, “oh you look fine. You’ve lost enough. You had a baby for crying out loud. Here's a brownie.” They sweetly, lovingly discourage me. Not that I blame them. I blame me for believing that the easy way is okay.
Are you ready to change something with your life?
Your business?
Your backside?
Your advertising?
I am good at the advertising part. I’d love to help. If you keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting what you’re getting. Unless the darn competitors decide to get off the dime and do something first. C’mon. Change is good.
(I’ll get the leash out tomorrow. Bullet never lies to me about it being okay to skip a walk—and he recommends 2 cups of kibble in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon for maintaining a healthy weight. A smart guy.)
